Trent Wakerley, Director |
Born & raised on the Sunshine Coast, Trent worked as a Registered Nurse before beginning his legal career in 2005.
Trent spent 10 years working at Schultz Toomey O‘Brien Lawyers working in Wills & Estates, Elder Law and Commercial Law. He began working at Kruger Law in early 2015 and became John’s business partner in mid-2015.
Known for his empathy and understanding, Trent is respected for his passion and commitment to Wills & Estates and Elder Law and is often a guest speaker at seminars for seniors, retirees and for those needing to care for aging parents.
Trent is an expert in Will disputes and his clients benefit from his calm and focused approach. He is also a Sessional Lecturer at the University of Sunshine Coast in Elder Law and Succession and is a member of the Queensland Law Society Elder Law Committee.
Trent cares deeply for the community and volunteers for several organisations. He is a Life Member of Kawana Rugby League Club and is a current judiciary member for Sunshine Coast Gympie Rugby League. He is an active patrol member for Kawana Surf Lifesaving Club and is a member of the Buddina School Council and USC External Advisory Committee. Trent enjoyed many years on the committee for Sunshine Coast Law Association including roles as President, Vice President and Secretary.
